I Call Your Name

I never stop saying your name, never stop calling it. As if I were calling you and you were right here beside me. I do it when I step out of the house, while I'm on the road, even when I'm just grabbing a towel before a shower. Not a single step I take goes by without your name.

I want you to be part of my beautiful plans, too. Until they come true, you are part of my journey. Every beautiful meaning I find along the way comes wrapped in your name, and the two never come apart.

Am I truly drunk on love?

Life is one long journey of prayer, isn't it? And you have found your way into the prayers I send up to the sky. Your name is never missing from a single page of my prayers for good things. It means "to blossom," and I hope it carries you toward good growth, too.

I am still calling your name as I write this.
